This site has been designed for Producers and Production Companies to submit their proposals on-line to any of the Discovery Networks. This new internet-based system has been designed to make the submission of program ideas easier, the Submission Guidelines more accessible, and the development process in general, more efficient and responsive to our Producers needs. This site can be used to submit program ideas to both the U.S. Networks and our International Networks. It is no longer necessary to mail or fax paper copies to our offices. When your proposal is submitted through this site, the information is electronically forwarded to a Network development team. How Do You Begin? 1. Read the “Getting Started” page for an overview on how to use this site effectively as well as answers to Frequently Asked Questions. 2. Review the Guidelines and Requirements of the various DCI Networks. Programming and scheduling needs vary by Network and Region. Please familiarize yourself with the Requirements of a Network before submitting your proposal. 3. Complete the Registration Process. To register you’ll need to supply your name, address, phone number, email address, and Production Company name. You will also have the option of including a company bio with your registration. To complete the registration process you will need to read and accept the terms of our Submission Policy & Agreement. 4. You will receive an e-mail within 2-3 hours confirming your username and password. You are now ready to submit your program proposal. |
